Love

Eyes see what the mind perceives
But to gaze on a being of such purity is to blink twice
For to look on one such as thee is to steal a glimpse of ultimate perfection
Not a shadow to cast on the moment

Thy face captures only life’s true meaning of pure beauty
Light reflect upon a pool of calm
Whilst weathering storms of unimaginable passion
Not a ripple to depict true emotion at the height of pure ecstasy

For what are these blades of silk that fall effortlessly from lakes of calm
Tumbling down for all eyes to see
Waiting for a moment when all time stands still
To be let down and to feel the breeze

Lakes of crystal also find places on thy perfect face
Coloured gems perfectly positioned to show thy beauty
Gazing into them you see what can only be described as the ultimate
Crystals sitting and fluttering proving illusions are not deception

Music is the labour of love
For one to capture the imagination takes a great effort
To create an image of the perfect world
For all to share

My mind wanders to thy face whenever I see a sunrise
Clearly thy were based on such an image
Just to imagine myself being bestowed such a blessing
Someone to see on the other pillow

For reasons that reason cannot imagine
You fell to me out of heaven
For in that moment all time stood still and true beauty emerged
Surfacing for all to see

Many would fall down at the chance to fall into the unknown
Exploring a land in which the gift of god is bestowed
To me that honour soon falls
Man becomes beast and beast becomes survival

Chosen out of the many to laugh from up high
To prove that the one true means of survival is love
Ways in which one finds doors opening
Doors of metal, parchment and calligraphy

While considering all reasons behind this
You are blessed with a gift to capture a mind
That mind was mine now ours
Together we share together we live
