Love And Loss

You shout at him, you scream at him,
You take your problems out on him,
And yet you love him.
You push him away refuse him attention
Fighting, arguing, provoking tension,
And yet you need him.
What if he should die tomorrow?
Would the abhor mature into sorrow?
Indeed you would miss him!
All the shouting, crying and contending
Missing 'I love you's' produced a lonely ending.
Only to be desolate.
Why does only death make you appreciate?
When only thinking of it, forces you to asphyxiate!
Only to have regrets.
Not being able to cope and with no managment,
Arguments and terms of disparagment;
None of which matter!
Why can't you love and value the living?
Think of them dying and just hold them; be forgiving!
For life is too short!
