Love Hurts

Poem By TIFFANY STEGALL

LOVE HURTS

LOVE HURTS, BUT WHY SHOULD I?
SOMETIME IT GIVES YOU A FEELING LIKE WANTING TO DIE.
IN LIVE YOU THINK YOU FOUND THAT SPECIAL GUY.
IN THE END HE MADE YOU CRY.
WHAT A DOG, WHAT A COWARD, HE’S NOT A REAL MAN.
YOU PUT YOUR HEART ON THE LINE AND DID ALL YOU CAN.
BUT HE THREW YOUR LOVE AWAY LIKE TRASH.
CAUSE HE COULDN’T CONTAIN HIMSELF FROM EVERY GIRL THAT PASSED.
KNOW HE’S SITTING IN AN EMPTY HOUSE WITH NOTHING BUT HIS ASS.
LOOK who’s HURTING KNOW IT DON’T FEEL GOOD.
NOW YOU’RE WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND HE IS SINGING THE I WISH I SHOULDA, COULDA, WOULDA.
IT’S ALL OVER AND THE TABLES HAVE TURNED.
NOW YOU KNOW LOVE HURTS AND THIS IS WHY YOU CRY.
