Love Or Lust

Poem By Babatunde Micheal

Alone in the desert
Left alone with my thoughts
My heart aches in a disquietude manner
Your face keep appearing like a banner
Nutting and Bolting my heart with different spanner

I tried letting go by closing my eye's
But all I see is you in my life
This is more than me, I said to myself as it kept on hankering
The more I tried letting go; the more I see you
Your face just keeps on Glowing in my heart
Like a light you can never put off

What have you done to me; is the question I ask myself
Seldom! !
My heart flutters
Seeing you my words begin to shutter
Your absence turns my hearts ablaze
My heart craves for you
You are all I got
This feeling is so sensational and magical
Without you life becomes darkness...

I will always stand at the porch,
Sipping your thought like hot morning coffee,
Undress myself as few drop spill by,
Yet gazing through the prism of your heart to refract light to mine,
