Love Sonnet 02: 'This Is Your Day, So Special In A Way'

Poem By Reyvrex Questor Reyes

This is your day, so special in a way,
Your life begins, and so their waiting ends,
When two decades ago, you wafted free,
To be the gust of May, that Springtime sends;
Will angels grudge on being copied by,
Of vestal grace and their celestial charms?
As such endowments, you did edify,
The armor of your heart, that none disarms;
As bud that turned flower and fruit becomes,
May soon comprise the longings of your call,
To flourish first as seed and bear blossoms,
In cycle of life that is task for all;
.….So, to you, happy birthday, bloom of Spring,
…..And wishing you the joys, the year will bring.

Love Sonnet 46: 'My Love Sent Me A Song So Soft And Sweet'

My love sent me a song so soft and sweet,
Like melody that lulls babies to sleep,
That hints of angels in their dreams to meet,
Assured in cradle of a mother's keep;

Lust

What feeds the greed and itch for more power?
The infamous, to numb, and bear more shame,
To climb pedestals, very much higher,
To snatch a crown, with or without, the fame?

Love Sonnet 34: 'Dear Moon, Please Bring These Thoughts To Where She Is'

Dear moon, please bring these thoughts to where she is,
For moonbeams she yearns, coming from your face,
Please bounce to her when I would blow a kiss
Across the sea, there to her flowered place;

A Beach Wish

I wished once to be a mountain
Rivers flowing by my side
My feet resting where waters drain
Seawards, and there to meet the tide

Love Sonnet 32: 'How Do I Start This Journey To Your Heart? '

How do I start this journey to your heart?
From charts or auguries for direction?
Should thousand ships from port with me depart,
Yet East or West, where lies your affection?

Love Sonnet 42: 'My Love May Now Be Looking At The Moon'

My love may now be looking at the moon,
She thinks that there I also gaze tonight,
And this, she has to know so very soon,
That on those times, she always had been right;
