Lust

A beautiful lady
Tight corset and all

Green velveteen dresses
Glorious chestnut tresses

A handsome young lad
Velveteen clad

A blood red rose
No one must know

The meet under the birch tree
Sneaking out easilyy

The lovers’ lips lock shamefully
A trap- the husband is angry

A call for the guards
Loves torn apart

The woman in tears
Her husband leers

Locked away
In the tower by the bay

The dashing young lad
Velveteen clad

Will hang tonight
At first sign of Twilight

The lady breaks free
To save her love

Pushes him off
Hangs herself instead

The crowd is aghast
The man hit his head

Upon wakening he knows
His love is his no more

Later that day
They found him on the bedroom floor.
