Man-Made Life

Poem By Lindsey A Rogerson

A man-made life, to which we hold the key...
of responsibility.
Innocence. Shattered illusions, perfection.
Faith in the human race, unified, should it not be?
a common factor we share, belief in ourselves
at least. The world.
The place we so happily accepted life in,
equals in life, no? we will always be equals in
death and in the eternal peace we wish for.
The only thing man-kind has yet to destroy.

Imaginary Lover

I wait, for the sensual arms of you,
I feel you, see your face, your soul.
Illusion, broken. Reality.
No one knows me, you do, you know my heart

The World In My Eyes

The world. A harsh place, yet
through the harshness of its existence comes
a ray of light, brought by passion,
passion from the existence of the human race
