Mask

Poem By Donavan hemphill

Hiding & running
Sighing and grunting
Hiding a pretty face
Running from the press

Wondereing and pondering
Maybe or maybe not
Maybe I should
Or maybe I should not

Time darting by
Until she decides
Yes I will, I wont back down
She thinks alound with her final stand

She removes her hood
The make up and jacket
'I am who I am, that wont change
If you cared enough
You would do the same'

One that cant be trusted
A person with several tales
One that should be alone

Standing still
Hushed and hung over
As time darts by
You stand there knowing

Selfish

Never the less doing nothing else
Taking the elecric bill money
Replacing it with prada bags

The hippo goes on a diet
The ants eat 30 lbs. a day

Constantly spread
