Maybe Tomorrow

Poem By Darren Lew

A long time now,
Since my love departed,
But the stitches in my heart,
Are barely holding.

Well and truly grounded,
If not below,
The world so much darker,
In this shadow you bestowed.

Comments about Maybe Tomorrow

Love that ends so often leaves unhealed wounds, your imagery makes the point clearly.

Take It

Take my arms,
Take my legs,
Nothing will be said.
