Me

Poem By Steeven A. Smith

Paddle forth beyond the maze
through paths afraught with laughter
by death by dawn the somber yawn
and green to alabaster

Here lie close to deep within
of hate a pride your master
with sunset soon the amber moon
and rise to crest the faster

White the light forbidden see
and pass beyond thereafter

Open field weathered glen
hold dreams to make and marry
while quick the strike and poison like
to he love made unwary.

Gone Beyond The Wall

Whosoever enter'd here and by my gate they pass
into the near of well beyond and visions future past
this I will agree to you as sweetly venom soothe
to tell by norm no other means and through the ear doth pass

What Is This?

What is a picture?
Is it a moment
frozen in time to be relived and cherished
or a paralyzing insight as to who we were then?
