Memoirs Of A Rookie Lineman

Poem By Michael Chambon

As I walk to the field,
I always expect pain,
Though I will not yield,
For there is always something to gain,
Though I am a virgin to this sport,
This still doesn’t discourage me,
Even if thy muscle’s distort,
Even if I cease to be,
I am backed by determination,
I am fueled by confidence,
I am filled with inspiration,
I am reinforcing my defense,
I am seeking glory,
Mine will be a prideful story.
