Memories

Poem By Ramona Mayes

These are the days when memories are made
Late night football games backyard parties
Breaking curfew for five more minutes together
It will all be over soon
With cap and gown in hand we'll walk on to the rest of our lives
We say we won't lose touch
We all know that's not true
We've had our share of laughs We've had our share of pains
Through it all we stuck by each other
We are the stuff that make friendships last forever
Through the time and the distance I will never forget you all
God broke the mold when he made us
So now go on and live your lives
never look back don't think twice
If you ever need a friend I will be here till the end
Hoping and Waiting till I see you all again
