Everything is becoming so dark and cold.
People look miserable when they're old.
Medication after medication
Constantly needing to see the doctor,
Most wonder why they even bother.
There are many that don't want to lose them.
But holding on is the hardest thing.
Letting go is what they must do.
Follow the path to heaven
Until you reach the end of the light
Meeting at the pearly white gate.
Looking back at their family mourning.
But knowing you are in a better place.
