Memory

Poem By Maxie De Kock

You stare at the sky in the hope for an answer yet nothing to this day you receive. All that is and once was is no more with no explanation as to why.

Hope, faith, love ... all disappearing within the blink of an eye, making that which was once reachable now something you only dream of at night and wish for during day.

Unbearable pain erupting within oneself, so excruciating unable to describe, narcotics lessen the pain but only seems to last for a short extent of time seeing that each time it returns, more vengeful than before, destroying all that is me till the only thing that seems to survive is a vague memory of a soul destroyed by that on which it thrived.... Love

Pain

The words you speak tear at my heart

without having to feel completely
exposed to all that is out there, but

While thrown onto the coffin's surface.

No Love Found

You woke me in the morning
Tell me you love me
And im foolish enough to believe
