Memory

This afternoon
While in a little nap
Someone
Who had been buried
Deep in the layers
Of the mind's memories
So deep that
The image was hazy
Came in all clarity
Called me and asked
How I was
As I fumbled an answer
And offered a walk
Like old times,
The dream
Like all dreams
Folded up
Leaving me empty
With long buried memories
Freshly dug out
