Memory

The angels in heaven rejoice and
Praise my Lord, his love and goodness
Is their reward.
Although I sit all alone
My memory serves
My lonely soul.
I praise the memories
Of one so dear
I feel their presence
Although not here
The apple of my eye
The essence of my soul
Thank you Lord above
Our memories
Can not be parted.
