Men Made Little Boys

Baited to be agitated?
And donating the time,
To become but dare not show...
An irritation that grows.
Felt to feel the mind about to explode?
Well...
Someone enjoys the doing if this done.
And whoever welcomes it,
Is more likely accustomed to being harrassed.
Either by a boss.
Or someone in a marriage.
Given permission to set rules.
As well as laws.
To follow and dare not break.
Knowing too late,
What was love to think of...
Now has turned into,
A lasting headache.

Yet...
It's only outside of the house,
Brave are the struts.
Walking in pants buckled up.
And meeting with the guys,
Pretending they are wise and in control.
But men made little boys.
Complaining about their wives.
And arguments the women start.
They can't seem to let go.
About something done to do,
So many years ago.
They were harrassed into admitting.
While moving slowly,
To exit quick.
Out of a backdoor.
Before it was noticed.

"I thought you told us,
You had a happy marriage? "

-I do.-

"We once said that too.
But now we admit,
Saying it to have it witnessed.
Left us happy in the beginning.
Then woke up to realize,
That confession to make...
Was a big mistake."
