Midnight Kiss

On that longing night we spent,
Our hearts did play one strange minuet.
A game of love and hate, a song of laughter and sorrow.
In my arms you spent so sweetly,
With my hands I pleased discreetly.
As the moon itself began to stall.
As you stumbled off to bed
A thousand things ran through my head.
As I leaned in to ask a thought;
Without such chance to you reached out and brought
Me closer, and with that a Midnight Kiss.
For me to have and you I not miss.
