Poem Hunter

Poem By James John Williams

Why don’t I ask the question
You always ask?
But you never ask the right question

Why don’t I just say
What I came here to say?
Instead of drinking myself to death
With you on my mind

I didn’t ask the question you asked
At a previous engagement

Why don’t I just ask
For my damn money back?
