Monuments To Apollo

Quiet
Without sound,
No disturbances
To cause the peace to stop.
No stray annoyance
To undermine the harmony
No wind
To disturb the dust.

A constant reminder;
Without change,
Without life,
Stagnation rules,
A timeless evaluation.

Meteors
Would destroy the trace,
Erasing foreign signs.
And none were there
To scream God's name,
Dead monuments in time.

Excellent, Sandra. It has a very good ambience. H
