Morning Peacock

Poem By Mark Adrian Adonay

Dew of a new born day has sounded
The melody of the music dancing on the air
Bright morning is happily wounded
By the seven soldiers of the victorious lair
From the East, the darkened plains
Lighten with the high refrains.

After the tears of the sky has dropped
The morning peacock appears with tail widely spreading
And the weeping friend above has stopped
To send and pour the water which is swiftly moving
Toward the unrefreshed lands
Covered by the cracking strands.
