Morning Route

Poem By Kostas Lagos

6: 15 in the morning
not a sun beam yet
In the bus;
I fell asleep
in its sweet warmth
I lost my stop
my destination
My soul screams
"Long time ago
you lost it, fool"

Comments about Morning Route

a great poem! a beautiful piece of misticism in a few words but poetic. asleep in a bus is like the lap of the mother. b beautiful depiction!
It's sad and yet so relevant for many of us. Thank you for sharing your poem!
