Motivation Please?

Poem By Samantha Stough

I will search every inch of the world
Until I find my motivation
Using this disaster
As the pinnacle of my creation

Confusing times
Call for confusing measures
Intoxicating our perception
With our pleasures

How I long to sink between
Floorboards one and two
So that I can just get
Out of the way for you

Take a breath, yeah
Take it in
Don't bother to breathe out
Or the day might begin

Now take that light
Out of my eyes
I'm gonna make my own...
Sans the lies

Ashes or butterflies?
Who knows? I’m not sure.
I cant tell the difference anymore.

Warped Reality

Somewhere across a misty, black sea,
Revolution is breaking at dawn
But in this safe little cage of mine,
Time just seems to slowly roll on

Forever In Summer

Something tells me
The summer has just begun
So why is it that I feel
Like it has already gone?

And So The Robin Keeps Its Distance

Gossamer threads may break to the touch,
But they seem to linger on your skin
Somehow the blood of the past winter
Seeps through the walls as they cave in

Killing Me Slowly

Breathing ancient words
I remember they're yours
Pleasant and fake
I will never want to think think again
