Mr. Peter & My Sister

Mr. Peter & my sister

This poem goes out to Mr. Peter
Who is a friend of my sister
And blow out my cover

In order to hide
I wrote my name backward
Until…the same day
My sister who is smart like Holmes
And Mr. Peter who is a genius
Discovered my disguise
And ruined my surprise.

I really didn't understand this one, can you explain?
Ah clever people that ruin your cover! Know that feeling! Moyax
I guess this one is a very personal one because to be honest, I didn't really understand it. But that could seriously be me and not your poem. I read this before when you had a couple of typos and I think it reads better now, although, like I said, Not sure I totally understand it. :)
Uriah Hamilton's message expresses my view on this poem. Check the words: fiend should be friend; guineas should be genius. Keep writing. Keep learning the craft of poetry. Thanks for sharing.
I think the poem is charming on some level. I think you meant friend instead of fiend, but many men are cads to the ladies, so fiend actually works well also. I think you meant genius toward the end. Thanks for sharing.
