Mundane

Poem By AJJ AJJ

Routine routine the same thing all humans do
Get up wake up time to move up try to do
Some thing different today walking out of the
Bed slowly rising to my feet but it’s so comfy
And warm like back in my mothers’ bosoms
Feeling the warm soft pillows which I was
Laying on

Beep beep the clock calling me to wake up
I have had my snooze already come on a
Next 5 or 10 minutes of sleep wont do no
Harm stop it go away I cant bare this any
More oh well another day another set of
Hours

Trapped in moving coffin filled with people
Who have dead beat eyes not looking but
Judging and seeing you different making
Assumptions of you like you’re another thug,
Killer, mugger or no he might have a knife in
His pocket.

I walking proud relaxed face look to you
Like I’ll do you some thing I m fed up of
This shit don’t watch me and pretend you
Know me because the media has shown
You
Why breathe near me why come near me
Girl I want to talk to you I want to know
Who you are
