My Bible

As I was walking through my bible one early
morning hour My Jesus was beside me and I could feel
His power He spoke to me of many things as we did
walking go And I'll share with you some things He said—
FOR I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW! He said I died upon the tree on Calvary's
bleak hill To free each burdened sin-sick soul eternal
life to give He said each nail that pierced His frame Each thorn that tore His brow Each angry word they hissed at Him Your worth each torturous hour He said that death He overcame for just
someone like me And I looked into His wondrous face
eternity to see And so I rise up early—for my Savior I
must meet As we travel through the Bible—and I listen to
Him speak.
