My Bicycle

Poem By David Darbyshire

Two wheels and a Seat
Peddles beneath my Feet
Hands on the bars, ringing my Bell
He jumped out the way, into a hole I Fell

The Bike I just Lent
Is now badly Bent
I'll have to return It
Man he'll have a Fit

My friend was very very Sad
That I am alright he was Glad
It was just a scratch and a bruise
His Bike I did miss-use

I bought my friend a 'NEW' Bike
and now I ussually 'Hike'
My Friend said: 'it's much better that Way'
You can ride your own Bike another Day
