My Dream Of You

Poem By Ruth E. Shelton

You came in my dreams and you kissed me goodbye
You held me in your arms and said please don't cry
Go on with your life and make a new start
You know I have to go and that we must part. I could feel your arms around me that night in my dream
The tender kiss you gave me was the last one it seems
I'll never forget the night you came to me
You held me so gently and then set me free. You told me that you had to go
That Jesus was waiting, you told me so
You said that you loved me, I'll never forget
Your lips and your arms I feel around me yet. But someday or another you didn't let me be
I can't forget you and you really didn't set me free
And my dream, I'll remember as long as I live
To me you gave all that you had to give Someday I will see you on heaven' shore
My love is there forever more
So wait for me darling, someday I'll be there
In the arms of my darling with the love we both shared.

A Mother's Love

A mother's love will always be,
with her baby on her knee.
She watches over him night and day,
and leads him along life's rugged way. She watches him as he grows and goes,

Who Took The Sparkle

Who took the sparkle from your eyes
And the smile upon your face
Did I hurt you so very much
That someone else took my place They took away the smile I loved
