My Life

Poem By sancia lawrence

I am tired of the hurt
I am tired of the pain
Where can I turn?
When there is a lot in my way

Who do I call friends?
Who do I call enemies?
Whose family
Am I better left being alone?

My heart aches for relief
That burst of happiness
Like a new babe brought into the world

Am I ever going to move from this confused state?
Unsure about my feelings
Unsure about my fate

Who do I turn to?
Who do I hate?
Is this the end?
Of my not so fairytale life?

Comments about My Life

where there is questions there is answers....well expressed pain.
The thick mist of confusion we all meet at one point in our life and the frustration that ensues after being lost in it for too long...nice work

A Father's Mistake

You were my sun in winter
You were my flowers at springtime
But on that treacherous night I became a monster
And trampled your beautiful petals

Between Lovers

His touch is electrifying
His kiss the gate keeper of death
His eyes dripping with desire
As he aches the day he meets his love
