My Little Deaf Baby

Do you know I love you?
I say it every day.
A hundred times out loud to you,
I say it every day.

I hold you,
Kiss your forehead,
It doesn’t seem enough.
Do you know how much I love you.
I love you very much.

I wish that you could hear me.
I wish that I could tell,
If I am getting to you,
Through that silence where you dwell.

My heart pounds so loudly,
When all is still at night.
I get trapped there in the darkness,
Sinking further from the light.

Do you know I love you?
I still don’t know.
I just can’t tell.
I’ll hold you until you feel it.
Until you know it well.

I’m so sorry little baby.
I want to help you.
I don’t know how.
I do everything I can,
It’s just not enough some how.

It’s so hard for me to show it,
I’m so frightened all the time.
I’m so frightened for you, baby.
Mommy’s here for you my child.

Do you know how much I love you?
I would like to think you do.
I just wish on all my wishes,
That you could say it too.

I know you know I love you.
You know I love you too.
I’ll hold you through the silence.
Please hold me through it too.

'Do you know how much I love you? ' yeah, we never say it enough. Your baby will so happy and proud of you when s/he is older! Keep it up.
TRULY Touching! You have touched the right chord and reached out to the reader. How do I trust that you did not moist your eyes while writing this, so how could I stop myself? What can we say more here but pray to the ALMIGHTY for strength to the baby and more for the mother?
