My Love

ooh my dear love,
to my tender heart,
you more than salve,
every time i hurt,

your charm's like a shove,
i can never resist,
buried in like a grave,
i can never get out.

noisier than a hive,
you could shame a parrot,
though humble as a dove,
that you more than a saint.

loving you is more than a crave,
thinking of you all night,
i bow to you like a slave,
getting lashes for my lust

you like a cave,
in you i find calm and rest,
in your arms i calm a nerve,
a solace i can trust.

i cherish you my love,
for you a thousand wars i could fight,
promise you'll never leave,
to me you'll hold tight
