My Mask

Now I'm laughing but there's pain
Like there's sunshine when it rains
Don't be fooled by the face I wear
For it's likely that it will tear
I'll break down and it will bear
All the things I don't want to share
I fear the emotions I can't expose
And like my face, my body I pose
I hide behind this second face
But ny soul can't keep the pace
I'm like day and night
And to judge me you have no right
For on this windy day i smile
And even go that extra mile
To speak and hold a conversation
When I know this leads to irritation
So when you see me laugh and grin
Know that it is all pretend
