My Mother

Poem By Fox Nekitsune

Once upon a time I was happy
I think it was as a child
I can barely remember

My saddest memory is mommy
She used to call me wild
And one September

She told my daddy she was leaving

They shouted at each other
And my daddy cried
Sorry said my mother
She told me she tried

She told my daddy she was leaving

She went away for a while
I missed her while she was gone
Then somehow I got older

She came back after the trial
She said now that’s done
And then I told her

This is great. Hope that you find some way of forgiving her. It would be well worth the effort!
