My Own Truth

Poem By Brendan Miller

I look around each day and see in detail
People's faces and expressions.
Certainly not many people fail
The happiness they show has positive progressions.

When I try to help I only know
That I'm doing the right thing deep down below.
My heart starts to pound and breath gets faster
For the gun to my head shows no laughter.

Creativity

I went to school today to learn something new
Some numbers and facts that must be true.

Sitting steadily my mind begins to wander

I Hope You Fall In Love

I hope you fall in love with someone who always texts back and never lets you fall asleep feeling you're unwanted.

I hope you fall in love with someone who holds your hand during the scary parts of horror movies and burns cookies with you when you're too busy dancing around the kitchen.

No One

You can yell all you want
but no one would hear.
You can laugh all you want
but no one would hear.

A Beautiful Girl

As she stands before me I can't help but admire
The true beauty that I see with a burning desire.
She gives me a smile and I fall apart in an instant
Because the things she tells me aren't very consistent.

Accuracy

Perfection.
We strive for it every day
But shit always seems to get in the way of
Perfection.

This Is Me

You may think I'm crazy, lazy or stupid at times
But let me tell you something sir that this is not me.
People like me need to go for a walk every little while we do not care you may think why but we shall not tell.
People like me may think they are right most of the time, people just say give it up but no not me. People like me get mad easy so back off please. We have asked you once nicely now we really are pissed. But once people like me are off our rage we soon regret all.
