My Pillow Is My Best Friend
Poem By jeanne harmon
Woke up this morning as tired as can be
Stayed up all night typing a term paper
Probabaly will get a get D
I splash some water in my face
Doesn't help one bit
As I get to school I rub the giant bruise on my head
I feel like I'd rather be dead
The bench looks so inviting
But this urge to sleep is what I must keep fighting
Someone laughs loudly right next to my ear
Great a head ache
Now my head is spinning
and there's the bell
The disciplinarian walks out of his office prowling like a fox for untidy shirts and unmatched socks.
Math is great
It is filled with flying cats and rivers of gold
That is until reality takes its hold
Now what is n class?
Why can't she just give me an A and let me pass
THIS POEM IS STILL NOT FINISHED! I JUST NEED TO GO TO BED AGAIN AND HAVE NO TIME TO SAVE ON WORD! DO NOT RATE IT YET!
