Dedicated to you by your angel in heaven
by Marianne Huntley
You always told me how much you loved me,
and in the end I'd always prove you wrong.
You neverdid know how I came to be,
and now it's your loss because I am gone.
The day you came and visited me in that room,
and you told me that I was the right,
that's when I stopped loving the world and you
and brought in the doctors to pull the light.
The doctors said, 'No we cannot do that.'
'why not? ' I asked while trying to reach the cord.
'Because its not your place to tell us that.'
'Too bad.' I said as I pulled the damn cord.
But it wasn't my time to have to go,
I knew that when I died and you said, 'No! '
