My Thirst

Poem By James Grengs

The dust of loneliness
Fills my mouth, and I choke.
I am thirsty, as I have never been before.
Give me a sip fron the fountain of love,
A cool taste of your nectar,
And dispel the foul taste in my mouth.
Give me to drink,
That therein I might live.
