My Winning Hugs.

Poem By mariam khan Farah Abdulahi

Oh how you have grown
So tall and beautiful
Marsha-Allah
I hug you
I kiss you
You ask me not to
My baby boy
At 11years old you will always be my baby boy
I’ve missed you
I want to hug you
Oh what am I to do
We play football
After every goal
You hug me
We won 10-6
I said you hugged me
You said
That’s different mom
You played the best football ever
Now I know
Play football
Play it well
To win those winning hugs

Oh Can You Feel Me, Hear Me See Me.

OH Can you feel the pain in my heart as I see the pain in your eyes
Can you hear me cry at night as I hear you cry?
I give you my all even though you see me crumble
You are my sister

The Home I'Ve Not Yet Seen.

I dream of going home one day
To a place I’ve never seen
A place with bombs
Fighting all the time

Food And Stuff

Have you heard?
It’s hallal to use!
Haram to buy!
As you buy fruit and veg. today.

Allah

As you see the pain in my eyes.
You feel the joy in my heart.
As the tears flow from inside.
You see me smile.

In This Land Of The Free.

Slavery has stoped
You say there is no isms
The black man is now free
Are you sure you did not just replace me!

Show Me The Way.

Take me along this path.
Do I go strait? Do I go back?
With every step I take.
I see the moon, the stars, and the sun.
