Who Knows For?

Poem By Hasmukh Amathalal

I have a name that isn’t mine
A name I shouldn’t use
It’s different to my son’s name
And one I’d like to loose

My daughter’s names are not the same
As mine or as their brothers
For mine’s the name of the game
That comes from too many lovers

Comments about Who Knows For?

good write, nice cheeky ending too
Well I'm sure they all love you whatever their names! A nice neat economical poem where every word counts. Well done.

All Hopes Against Hope

All hopes dash against hopes
It is like tight walking on simple ropes
We may counter stiff resistance at high slope
Bonding may not be possible even if you elope
