Namrud, God Of The World

Poem By Alauddin Apu

Namrud, God of the world
Changes just face and name,
Lasts till the last time,
Plays gamble with the lives of the mankind.
Great whimsical and stubborn child
Takes their breath away,
Enjoys their suffocating,
Keeps one alive and another dead.
He possesses all powers,
Exists everywhere,
Does what He wants.
He never dies,
Just accepts another appearance.
He is a big baby.
The people are His dolls.

The world is now the forest.
The tiger and the lion are the king.
All subjects are innocent animal,
Born for the king’s meal.
