Nature’s Colors

Poem By Marilyn Lott

One thing exciting about winter
Is what’s just around the curve
The temperature starts to warm
Oh, so well deserved

Petunias showing cheerful faces
Colors clear and bright
Impatients of many shades
And what a welcome sight

Sunflowers – don’t you love them?
With their bright happy faces
Tall and strong they grow
Going through their yearly paces

A magical world appears
When summer comes our way
I just wish it would hurry
Without a second delay

But the seasons take their time
And we wouldn’t change a thing
For each one is a joy to us
We accept nature for what it brings!
