Never Alone

Poem By Sudarkodi Nagarethinam

He paves the way, man commands it.
He decides the destiny, man conquers it
He creates…He destroys, men exist…men reside.
This strange rule, at the start, he frames and we all abide.

The dark and cozy cottage for us to hibernate
World so small, voluminous solitude.
Relatives await your arrival eagerly,
while you practice the lessons of being lonely.

I was one of those God’s favorites,
who never had to pass those stringent tests.
Cottage was dark and cozy, but no lessons of loneliness.
I fought for space, but soothing was her presence.

Deep within…
I knew my first kin.
We struggled to get out just to see each other.
Oh so lovely, we saw our mother.

It Rained

I see myself along with millions like me
Silence that’s deafening. Silence like death

I have been traveling for so long

I see, I hear, I think and I realise
that truth is all around to support and guide.

I have seen,

Moody Sky Sensitive Sea

the moods of sky
the quirks of sea
The sky with its emotions
how the sensitive sea reflects?

An opportunity that jus knocked
Doors were opened; hands were empty
Grabbed it, made it mine
and let the rest of the world envy

Calling Of The Spring

The softness of touch
pleasantness of sight
scent of breeze
sweetness of the scene
