Not Here To Hoard The Feast

Each day when I awaken,
To feel and know I have been blessed...
I am elated to be able to grow and appreciate,
This experience of life...
And how with it I am connected.

Delicated and yet each piece has its purpose,
Within a specific design so fragile but strong.
And everything belongs in a place meant to be,
To assist and complete a need that feeds...
A divine creativity too magnificent for participants,
To conceive.

Each day when I awaken,
To feel and know I have been blessed...
I am elated to be able to grow and appreciate,
This experience of life...
And how with it I am connected.

So simplistic the knitting of it is taken for granted.
Gifts delivered are received with more of them wished.
An abundance is teased to have some wanting it all.
But only those who awaken with a consciousness of it,
Begin to comprehend...
A kept selfishness begets disappointments.

Since we, the people...
Are not here to hoard the feast.
But share in the tasting of it.
To ensure all of life,
Is kept fed and left respected.
