O Jazzman

Poem By Charlotte Riddle

The melancholy flow of Jazz
The beat that’s gentle and slow
O Jazzman, play it again,
I don’t wanna go

The swingin’ flow of Jazz
It rolls off the tongue so fine
O Jazzman play it again
You swing real divine

The rockin’ flow of Jazz
You stomp your feet
To the beat
To the rockin’ beat
Of Jazz
O Jazzman, play it again
I can’t leave my seat

O the flow of Jazz
The beat
The style
The razzmatazz
O Jazzman, play it again
I wanna stay awhile

Loked this muchly. I can hear the slow languid piano, and the beauty of a flattened trumpet note....
Music as the song goes, was definitely my first love. I like your tribute to jazz very much. 9 from me. All the best Tai
I'd like to listen to your Jazzman, Charlotte, I can feel the beat already. Nice one. Sincerely Ernestine Northover.
PLAYING GUITER HAS TOUGHT ME TO LOVE JAZZ,
