O Love! Thou Makest All Things Even

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
Thou lookest in a grave,--to see
Thine immortality!

A wonderful love poem that ends in a philosophical thought. The last four lines demand contemplation for full comprehension.

An excellent glorification of true love and it's immense power through this beautiful song rich in rhythm and rhyme, deserving selection as classic poem of the Day.
