Objective Rhyme

Objective lines, when I write,
When people ask me for a rhyme,
And give me very little time,
I write my words and think it's fine,
The request comes back to change a line,
Or two,
Or more,
Who is the architect here?

It's nice to be thought of in that way
But then to be a critic of what I say
From out of clouds in my own mind
The negative is hard to find
And so I should refuse and then
Get back to using my own pen
