To cross the river!
by Edward Kofi Louis
The river of sweet love;
And, to sail on in a boat,
Directing your ways to the life ahead of you.
An age-old obnoxious customary!
At the bridge of boats;
To float along the sweet river,
With men in coasts like the muse of the goats around.
Sparrow, songbirds, turkey and dove!
Whispered to those in pain without a kiss on their lips;
And like the adoption of my adaptation in this land.
