Often it is not the pain.
But the agony that remains long after,
That stays.

Often it is not the weeping,
One remembers as much.
It is one's touch that is missed.
And one sits alone...
Wishing for it!

Often it is the arguments,
With conflicts that go unresolved.
Leading to a break up...
One involved,
Desires too late to solve.

And often it is the one,
Who causes this to happen!
And too often,
The one who leaves...
Is not the one left to grieve.
In regret and remorse.
