Oh My

The grass is coming up again.
The grass is coming up.
It is reaching nearly to my chin.
I wonder where those ants have been?
The cardinal and bluejay bright,
Wintered here both day and night.
My lawnmower is a frightful sight.
I am sure it grew two feet last night.
The grass is coming up again.
The grass is coming up.

I hate having to mow the grass but it's so wonderful to lay in when the grass is so long even though you get bitten by some kind of bug when you do lay on the green grass.
