Every time we passed
They laughed
It may seem paranoid
And daft
But I was sure they
Laughed at me
Who shuffled by
And after we had
Shuffled by
I checked my shirt
I checked my fly
I checked for spinach
In my teeth
I checked for glimpses
Of my briefs
And toilet paper
On my shoe
And blobs of ugly
Nasal goo
But they didn’t laugh at me
They say
They laughed at you
So that’s OK.
